Pet Food Bank Project
Many individuals in the surrounding area experience food insecurity. In an effort to keep pets in their loving homes, PAL operates a Pet Food Bank as one of our outreach programs. Donated dog and cat food is collected at our Adoption Center. Volunteers mix the donated kibble and then repackage for distribution. Those packages are then distributed weekly at various food pantries in the surrounding area for those most in need.
Any brand of Dry Cat Food, Dry Dog Food, Canned Cat Food and Dog Treats are appreciated. Open bagged food is also accepted. Gallon sized ziploc bags and brown paper grocery bags are appreciated. Donations are accepted at the Adoption Center and PAL Thrift during our regular business hours.
