| PAL's Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program
In an effort to help to reduce the pet overpopulation in Beaufort County, the Beaufort Humane Association is proud to offer a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program. The program offers low cost spay/neuters for the pets of low income families (families that earn $25,000 or less per year).
To apply:
1) A pet owner submits an application along with annual financial information (1040 IRS form, etc.)
2) The application and financial information is reviewed by BHA.
3) If approved, a Low Cost S/N Certificate is issued (one certificate for each pet).
4) The qualified family then schedules a surgery appointment at any of the participating veterinarians.
5) At the time of your appointment, the pet owner is required to pay only $30 for the surgery, and the Beaufort Humane Association pays the remainder of cost to the Veterinarian.
If you think that you or someone you know may be qualified for our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program, please call PAL at 843-227-2691. Or send us an email at beauforthumane@aol.com to receive an application. |
